Contact point of the Schleswig-Holstein State Police for LGBTIQ* matters. Every police directorate has LGBTIQ* liaison officers. The central contact point arranges an appointment near you, by phone or email.
Cops4Q – LGBTI* liaison officers of the Hamburg Police
The liaison officers are the link between the police and the community. You can ask general questions or file a police report. If you wish, they can refer you to Hamburg’s support and counselling network, even without a report.

The network behind it
Schleswig-Holstein: “Echte Vielfalt” (“real diversity”) is the motto of the action plan for the acceptance of diverse sexual identities. It was created in 2014 by a unanimous decision of the state parliament and has since been supported by a broad alliance from the queer community. Hamburg: In April 2023 the Senate adopted the update of its action plan under the new name “Hamburg l(i)ebt vielfältig” (“Hamburg loves and lives diversity”). Its aim is to promote the recognition of gay, lesbian and bisexual as well as trans* and inter* people and to take action against discrimination.

Bremen: The Senate adopted the action plan against homophobia, transphobia and interphobia on 10 February 2015. It aims to reduce disadvantages, raise awareness in the wider society for respectful interaction and specifically strengthen queer people. All Bremen authorities and the Bremerhaven municipal administration are involved through contact persons. The second implementation report was published in 2023.

Lower Saxony: The state government is drawing up the first statewide action plan for queer people. It is being developed together with the administration and the queer community, including the Queeres Netzwerk Niedersachsen (QNN). The plan aims to strengthen the protection, visibility and acceptance of LGBTIQ* people and set out a roadmap for the coming years. Once it is finished, the Ministry of Social Affairs will publish it.
