STOP the HATE in brief

STOP the HATE is a prevention and empowerment campaign against hate crime targeting LGBTIQ* people. It was developed by velspol Schleswig-Holstein e.V., the network for LGBTIQ* employees in the police, justice, customs and public order authorities. The campaign is run by velspol Schleswig-Holstein e.V. and velspol Nordwest e.V. It shows victims what they can do after hate crimes and where to find help. STOP the HATE is funded by the State Democracy Centre at the Schleswig-Holstein State Crime Prevention Council and by the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of the Interior, Municipal Affairs, Housing and Sport.
